In 2004 Snøhetta, a noted Norwegian firm of architects, was assigned the task of designing a memorial museum at Ground Zero in New York city. The object was to commemorate the victims of the 9.11 terrorist attack and promote the cause of peace. In this film we follow the architects concerned over an eight-year period as they grapple with a project that was to prove both controversial and subject to many changes and modifications underway.
