Michelangelo Merisi, as known as Caravaggio, died on the 18th of July of the year 1610 on the beach of Porto Ercole. Brilliant painter, he changed forever the history of art with his way of painting. A little more than four hundred years after his death, Rai Educational celebrates this Lombard artist with the documentary film Caravaggio in Rome.
