DOC HOME INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FILMS REVIEW ON CONTEMPORARY HOUSING from the 10th of December 2019 to the 7th of January 2020 MAXXI - National Museum of the 21st Century Arts | Rome Tuesday, December the 10th, with the opening talk L'impossibilità di essere normali, the International Documentary Films Review Doc Home is going to start. The Review, in collaboration with MAXXI, is designed as a side event of the exhibition At home. Projects for contemporary housing. MAXXI Architettura collections and includes a program of screenings with the aim of exploring the themes presented by the exhibition and investigating further issues related to the concept of living. The documentaries have been selected from the Art Doc Festival archive, established over the past fifteen years in the organization of documentary events on art and architecture, and among the most recent and interesting productions on the theme of contemporary housing. The approximately 40 documentaries of the event will be screened during the 4 weeks of the event, according to a weekly program, everyday according to the opening of the Museum, since 11.00 a.m, free entrance. During the opening evening, Tuesday, December the 10th, at 6.00 p.m. in the MAXXI videogallery, Margherita Guccione (Director of MAXXI Architettura), Antonella Greco (President of the Art Doc Festival) and Bruno Di Marino (historian of the moving images), will present the themes of the entire review and they will introduce the two documentaries that will be screened.
