A journey through the places and the works of Pellegrino de' Pellegrini alias Pellegrino Tibaldi (Puria Valsolda 1527 - Milan 1596), great artist of the Sixteenth century, painter and architect – from the Rome of Michelangelo and Paolo III Farnese, to the Milan of the Borromeos, to the King of Spain Filippo II’s Escoriale, moving through Ancona, Bologna and the Lake District, his homeland.
