THE WORLD ACCORDING TO KAPOOR Direction: Heinz Peter Schwerfel Photography Marcel Neumann Editing: Philippe La Bruyère Production: Schuch Productions, ARTE France France, 2011, 52’, English, Italian subtitles* A trip around the world, to Mumbai, Chicago, Bilbao and of course London, following the scuptures of the famous british sculptor Anish Kapoor: in a long conversation, Kapoor explains very frankly his work and universe, from the origins of his color pyramides to the beauty of hispolished mirrors, but also the importance of psychoanalisis and technology for his art. Highlight of the film is Kapoor's spectacular exhibition "Monumenta" in the Grand Palais in Paris.
